Default amp install help

I just got an under the seat box for my 04 QC but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out where to mount the amp. It's an older jl 500/1 so it's pretty big. I was going to mount it behind the seat but there's no where near enough room to go that route. The only other option I can think of is under the driver seat but I really didn't want to go that route.

If anyone has some pictures of their amp installs it'd be greatly appreciated.

Mine are both mounted on the rear wall of the truck behind the seats. Put them under the front seats and youre asking for trouble from people kicking them or the wires

So I'm assuming you pulled all the insulation that is behind them to put that in? I was hoping to avoid that.

Maybe I'll have to trade the slash off for one of the little square alpines.

You alternatively can leave the board off, use self tapping sheet metal screws to go through the rear cabin wall and mount that way.
