ehh, I could figure it out. It's only wiring!

Just need the wiring diagaram.
I'm sure the easiest way is to ground out the parking brake wire. This will illuminate the parking brake light, but allow anything to happen while in motion. There's always another way also.
Reason being the new trucks do not look for the park brake anymore. It all goes by vehicle motion now. If anyone has GPS such as myself you will notice that you can input text stopped at a red light, without being in park. I have not tried the actual DVD funtion, but I would think it works on the same similar basics. As you know everything is starting to become controlled by the ECU, or at least runs through it so its monitored. They have to send signals to the deck for the park assist now to turn the volume down, parts of the deck are also relayed to the EVIC. There is lots of stuff going on now so its all central controlled.
This is the reason for the lockpick, it enables video while vehicle is in motion, it also does MANY other things. Like allows for more video inputs, camera inputs, aux inputs, usb update. Its not just an unlock device for video portion, but adds many capable options to it as well. IF I were to ever install aftermarket cameras, or headrest players I would purchace this unit. But i'm not so I can't justify spending 250 bucks just to watch video in my truck. I could buy a portable DVD player and mount it on the top, and plug the aux cord into my truck for 50 bucks! HAHA,
Unless someone has figured out another way in the last 3 months, lockpick is needed on 4 gens! This also comes from a certified aftermarket installer
