My daughter just bought a 2012 sxt plus. We asked the dealer if it was ok to put in an after market remote starter in the car. It will be from a long standing reputable company. He said he wouldn't. This sounds like bull to me. Most people get remote starters for their cars. I haven't heard of any problems. Anyone care to coment?

 

If you get a reputable shop and equipment you will have no issues. As you said, LOTS of people add them on (myself included) and have no issues.
