sub enclosure for 99 dak r/t singlecab
Has anyone made a fiberglass sub box that fits it the center console area? There is only maybe 3 inches of space behind the seat so its kind of out of the questionto put a sub there unless i cut out the back of the cab (which im really not willing to do). I was either going to put subs in the bed under the tonneau cover or make an enclosure in the console. Any information would be helpful.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Spyder,
I know the works on the space saving(and yes I have cut the wall in my Chevy) but my Dodge will not suffer the same fate...
I am in the middle of a full console setup in the Ram but it will wait till it gets out of the shop. But heres the skinny...Just take you time...If you can pick up some of the regular truck mags of the last months they have been showing some of the basics on fiberglass. Best thing with glass is to not mix it to hot. If you do it will crack and not hold a form. Always use a mesh not fabric as the mags do. Alot of the mags use everything but fiber mesh...this is not good. Structural streangth is determined by lines of force and mesh laid 45 degrees on angle is much stronger than any fabric on its own. Its kinda like building a house...its done in layers...for streangth...but just read the directions on the the box and get the spec's on the woofer and go to:http://www.loudspeakers101.com\
