Default Rear seat spec for subs?

I search but did not find anything directly related to what I am looking for. I am purchasing a '06 RAM 1500 CB. I will not have the truck for a few weeks and I am trying to get as much info together. I plan I building a custom fiberglass box for 2 Kicker L7's either 10" but prefer 12" if they can fit.

So what I am looking for are measurement of the rear seat storage area. Design ideas my change once I get the truck and see what I have to work with for space.

Max Depth:
Min Depth:
Pod Dimension:

and anything else you can think of.

I will do a full write up on the install once I get the truck Doing a step by step. Currently here is what is going in it.

Head: Alpine 9887
Speaker Amp: Kicker ZX 650.4
Sub Amp: Kicker ZX 750.1
Speakers: Focal 6.5 Polyglas separates F&R
Subs: 2-L7 12" (Depends if L7's will fit if not then Alpine Shallow mounts)
Custom fiberglass enclosures for the doors and sail panels
Stinger PRO 5F Digital Hybrid Capacitor
Kicker Accessories

Youre really jumping the gun.

How much depth you have depends on how high you want to lift the seats. So with that being said, you cant get a real answer.

By the time you buy everything you need to fiberglass a box and your labor, you could just buy a box from Joe Fox at www.foxacoustics.com

I saw those...but where would the fun be? Glassing a custom box will be easy...I use to do custom installs in BMW's and did tons of glass work. theDogger

Then you already know the answers to your questions on the dimensions you ask for. Everyone lifts the back seat to SOME degree. How much depends on the size which determines the air volume. Sorry I can help more.

I guess the real question I had on avg. can one get .88 to 1.2cuft of air in the space with a normal lift?

I'm on my mobile so I'm limited on how I can answer. But check FoxAcoustics site and see how much internal air he has in his. He used to lift his 3/4" but has changed designs so it might be more now
