You can buy an amp bypass kit for around $30 or buy a roll of speaker wire and run new wire to the doors. Your choice, both work

the bypass kit sounds better, im just unclear on exactly how the bypass and steering wheel interface hooks to the head unit. and does the byass harness plug from the HU to the harness on the factory amp? is there more than one harness on the factory amp? ( i could only see one with out taking my dash apart)

The aftermarket harness connects to the bypass harness which connects to the trucks OEM radio harness

usually, instead of going through all that work, to me, its just easier to run new speaker wire from the new HU harness to the doors

that seems like alot of wires to run though if the harness just plugs into everything without splicing, also i didnt like the fact the harness it almost 17feet long, and i dont need that kind of length if all that will be under my dash
