New here, so please be gentle. I did a few searches with no luck.
I have a basic UConnect Radio in my 2012 Caravan that utilizes the microphone in the rearview mirror. It looks like the connection for the microphone is a square gray connector with 3 wires coming out. I would like to use the stock micrphone with my aftermarket radio. Any idea what the wiring is for the 3 wires. I am thinking micrphone +/- and then maybe power for autodimming mirror. But at a loss.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

are yoou talking about the gray connector on the radio? If so, then that iisn't the mic wiring. That is the audio lines from the Uconnect module.

HI XSDBS,
Thanks for the response. It is a square gray connector with 3 Green/other color wires coming out of it. I assumed it was the microphone connections. If not can you tell me where the microphone connections are located please.
Thanks

The gray 10 pin connector on the radio is for the audio signal from the Uconnect module.
The mic wires are directly at the Uconnect module 22 pin connector:
pin # 16 = mic (+)
pin # 17 + mic (-)
pin # 18 = mic shield

Checked both sides of the 22 pin connector, there is no wiring for pins 16-18.
Still not sure where the microphone connects.
This is the basic UConnect radio, no big LCD screen, and a single CD slot.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

This is because you're looking at the radio connectors and not the Uconnect module itself. The Uconnect for this radio is an external unit, separate of the radio. I believe that it's located on the drivers side of the dash structure. If you drop the knee bolster and look above the e-brake pedal, you should see a black module about 4" x 6" and look similar to the one pictured below. (the label PN may be different but the module will look the same). There will be a 22 pin, 10 pin connector and a mini USB attached to it.
