Default speakers won't work

I put a pioneer stereo in my 2003 dodge Durango. I used a harness plug to hook up the stock speaker system but it won't work. I know it's wired correctly as I checked it. Is there some amp that needs to be powered up? I've installed literally hundreds of stereos in other vehicles so I'm not a novice. This is the first later model Dodge I've worked on and I know these things are always a learning experience. Can anyone help?

You need to connect the blue/white wire from the Pioneer deck to the solid blue wire in the harness you wired up. The blue wire is for the factory Infinity amplifier remote on. Without that wire being connected, the amp will not turn on so that's why there is no sound.
