Default Door Speaker Replacement

I noticed last night that my driver door speaker is out. It's not crackling, it's just..dead. I haven't changed any of the speakers in my truck before, so I need some help getting to the speaker. I believe it's a 6.75", but correct me if I'm wrong. I'm equipped with the Infinity Sound System...

Any suggestions on brands?

Don't know about the infinity system. Mine has the 4 speakers and I replaced mine. The fronts should be 6x9. The rear doors should be 6 1/2. I couldn't tell you what brand other than to go by a cartoys or something where you can hear the difference between them.

Oh and if you plan on getting a different CD player, make sure you get a metra wire connector and an antenna adapter. It will save you headaches that I ran into.

A common issue is/are broken wires in the door boot. Take the door panel off and pull out the speaker and test it. If it's dead, replace it. If it's good, check for bad wiring
