I have seen the U-Connect phone option on other RAM trucks and wish to get it installed in my truck. When I click on the voice activation button, it tells me "Not equipped wit U-Connect Phone". Does anyone know what parts are needed? Do I have to go to a dealer to get or install this system? Is there a better after market system that will cost less?

1) the install is simple, if you can put a radio in, then you can do this.

2) mopar kit # 82212159
3) optional usb / ipod cable 82212160
4) after the install, take the vehicle to the dealer to have it programmed for sales code "rsp". call around for this step because the chrage will range from 50 - $100
