Default BestBuy Combo Deal

yeah I'm sort of poor now, so my infinity kappa perfect setup i have in mind will have to wait, but i want something, and i found a cheap *** combo at bestbuy that includes an amp and 2 12s" for 129.99. so for 129.99 do you think this set will be worth the money as a temporary solution. ill resell it when I'm done. Ive got a wiring kit, and i can have someone 1/2 *** a box for me. so lets say for 150 i can have these going. what you think?

Insignia 2-Channel 360W Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier with Two 12" Subwoofers

Im not familar with that brand. That price you can find someone to buy it and not take too big of a loss. As for the box, couple of suggestions. First, find out what specs the speakers needs in for optimum size. Check into the prefab boxes there, look at a local cabinet maker and have them build you a box. Don't skip the stereo shops, usually they will have and "entry-level" package deal. I like going this route because it starts an intereaction with the stereo shop. Usually the shop will start making better and better deals as you improve your system. Through the stages of my system, I figured I have saved about $200-$300 in deals cut from buying stuff at the same shop. Nowdays the entry lever stuff is pretty much the same. Had a friend that saw a system I had in a truck (MBQuartz, Alpine, Kicker for about $2500), couldnt afford that so we went with all Wallmart goodies (jensen and audiovox) and to tell the truth it didnt sound all that bad. He didnt have the clairity at the higer vol like I did but it was more than enough for him.

I'm not familar with that brand either. Seems like a good deal. That amp should run well with those subs.

Lucky for me, I get my stuff for free.

It's gonna be ****ty.

BUT, make the best with what you have I guess.

Remember, it's ALLLLLL in the box. I'll design you a box for $10...it'll include all specs, detailed cut-sheet listing exact size of ALL pieces needed to construct the enclosure. Then take it to a cabinet shop, or build it yourself. It'll make them sound better

Eh, they'll perform better if you put them in a better box. 3 cubic feet NET ported @32hz with about 40 square inches of port.

The ground should be the same as the positive.
