HI i just bought a 00 neon had deck in it that wouldn't turn on so i pulled it. its has a harness not just some cut wires I find that if i have the (red) and (yellow) connected like they should be radio does nothing at all checked fuses all fine. If i pull the yellow and connect it to the (red) it works, obviously as this is a ignition wire i loose all settings when i turn key off. Now for the odd bit if i leave both the (red) and (yellow) connected normally so (red) to (red) and (yellow) to (yellow) radio does not work as stated before UNLESS i touch them together then the radio works but also the dome light turns on and will not shut off until the key goes off. lol someone pls help this is driving me nuts i have always wired my own radios and for the life of me i can not figure out what im missing here. If clarification is needed just let me know.
