I bash MTX all the time, but[sm=hail.gif] that looks like 0 guage speaker wire to me[sm=drooldude.gif] specs?

I just found this on the web somewhere, I can even remember where. I was cleaning up my HD and found them.

Welcome to like...10years ago or something...lol. That's Richard Clark's Thunder 1,000,000

Created by Clark himself, sponsored by MTX. It was housed inside a bread truck, was 10' in diameter, the cone was made out of plywood. It did some outrageous number...like ~170 @ 20-some Hz at the time (even tho, this was well before the time of the TL sensor ). The truck literally imploded.

MTX Paid him to put on their logos, and it hit 11Hz @ 162 db. when designed the sub was supposed to hit over 188db. the Subwoofer hit 1 note @162 db and the cone broke

that is a riot--i love stuff like that
wonder what that guy was smoking to
make the cone outa plywood. when plywood
pops- it makes this nasty spintering shrapnel.

looks like something you would see on myth busters
