I just picked up my new truck. I am looking to install aftermarket stereo. Could someone point me in the right direction in regards to wiring and removing of factory head unit?

Removing the factory head isnt hard, simply take off that section of the dash and pull her out. As far as wiring goes, go ahed and buy an wiring adaptor to make a proper connection with your stock wiring. They sell those kits at Best Buy or any local Car Audio Place. If your unshure about wiring, dont try to do it yourself with a head, they are very easy to ruin. If you really want to though, and theres nothing wrong with that im the biggest do it yourselfer ever, go to www.the12volt.com or www.electronixwarehouse.com. They have a great educational forum on that sort of stuff. Just read the manual that came with the Head and have fun. Let us know what happens.
