I had a Viper 5305V installed in my 2018 Dodge Journey. Everything seems to be working fine but I would like to find out if its possible to disable the horn honk upon pressing the remote start?

The tech told me that he had to enable something (I forget the specifics) where the it briefly has to unlock the car doors prior to remote start in order to bypass the factory alarm.

When I press the remote start button, it honks the horn once, and then from what I can tell, honks again when it re-locks the door after the vehicle has started.

I can imagine this will be quite annoying to neighbors when I remote start a car at 5am for work.

Any one know if this can be disabled?
