I just bought some door speakers for my 05 quadcab and I want to install them myself. They are 2 6x9's for the front doors and 2 6 1/2's for the back door. Does anyone know how to take the door panels off?

 

I dont know about the 05 but my 98 for the front doors there were screws in the door handle you use to pull the door shut and a screw up by the top rite by the mirror. Then there are annoying plastic peices that pop into place. You will need a tool to pull them out without breaking them. They are all around the door. Once that is all done you jst pull up on the panel and it comes off. Did you think about putting some sound deadining material on the doors while the panels are off?
