Do you know wat ohm load that amp makes 350 rms? That will determine wat kind of voice coil configuration you will need. You should always go with wat the manu. suggest as a good starting point, bcuz after all they did design the sub and should know were it has a good balance of spl and sq.

btw, are phoenix gold subs pretty good? I've been eyeballing the 10inch phoenix gold RSd.. which is their top of the line version. thanks for all your help guys i'll soon give report on outcome.

ya that infinity wont work then.
Phoenix Gold is a good company. Never personally heard the sub, but their amps are good....so I imagine the sub should be ok. Do you have a price range you wanna work with?

You can use liquid nails to seal the inside of a box. but make sure to let it dry OVERNIGHT. The liquid nails has chemicals in it that can ruin parts of your sub. You can get that at lowes, home depot, etc I'm taking it your getting a pre-fab box?

well, i bought the phoenix gold subwoofer RSd.. small sealed enclosure powered by an alpine monoblock amp 200watts @ 2ohms. pretty much half way on the gains. this things is like WHOA on the bass. amazingly clear and is mediocre on the focus but the bass is amazing.
