Default Front Speaker Signal

2005 Dodge Dak w/ Infinity (factory amp and components in front).

Off of the factory headunit, I see where the rear signal comes from (the rear speaker wires) but where does the amp get the front signal? There is no front signal (speaker wires) that come off the factory headunit.

Thanks.

Default RE: Front Speaker Signal

Sorry, I may be asking redundant questions. I know more now about stereo install than ever before.

I believe the answer to this question is "somehow via the can-bus". I was just reading about audiocontrol LC6i and LC8 which sums the signal after the factory amp. Maybe that is the direction I need to go to keep the factory headunit.

Anyway, the fun continues...
