Indeed a new h/u makes a nice difference but is not a cure all like you would want one to believe. I know the Dodge family uses nice clean radioes and there is ways to get cleaner and louder before your head unit. I am experienced at starting from the bottom and building up to great systems. If your system is not all noisy and sound like crap then try to add a small sub and amp to bring out the bass end of the sound.
