Eclipse Install
Well I'm bored, so I figured I would post up my last install. I put two eclipse sw9122 subs in my friends 2001 Eclipse. I made a sealed box with each sub in about 1.25 cubic feet of air space. I cut out a template of his hatch them carpeted it and mounted it to the top of the box. He didnt want the subs flush mounted....even tho I think it would have looked better. We had them running off a Concept amp....I cant remember how big it was, but I think each sub was probably roughly getting a tad bit more than the 750 rms the subs were rated for. It obviously isnt a huge shiny install with crap allover, but I think it came out nice and simple. I personally like simple carpet or classy fiberglass installs, rather then all kinds of freakin acrylic junk all over and more fiberglass than most modern sports cars are made of. Overall it sounds pretty good as well. It is an sql woofer and I would say it does its job. It would sound better if he had some sound deadening, but he is a cheap sob and wont get any. Anyway here are the pics.

P.S. he left that mdf dust in there for probably about 3 months....hes rather lazy.
