Okay we got water in the car and it shorted out the Amplifier under the passanger seat. So my question is can i buy a bypass wire that connects the two sets of wire were the amp was. Or do i need to buy another amp (any suggestions). I am looking for a very inexpensive option.

You might be able to find a replacemtn amp for cheap on ebay....my friend had a 2001 eclipse and they also have infinity stuff....if there are any number or anything on the amp let me know and I can see if its the same one and probaby get it to you for really cheap. As far as bypassing, unless you want to buy a new radio it wont work.
