Hey guys i need sum help my 2006 dodge ram rattles too much. i got a jl 10w6v2 in a custom box for the center console, eclipse (CD3000) stereo and sum aftermarket infinity Speakers. whenever i turn my radio up it sound really good on the inside but once you get outside the doors rattle too much.

i went to a couple of stereo shops around here and they said to put dynamat on all the door, but one place said to put it all over the floor and doors

o and the price of that dynamat is high so i want to know is there another brand o sumthing that is just as good?

and also would u guys get the floor and door or just the door or what would u guys do?

 

The floor probably isnt causing the rattling, but it would make for alot less road noise if u did that as well. Your door panels and the panels that go over the rear speaker are probably your problem. Here is a very good read sound deadener showdown
Second Skin Audio is jst as good.. if not better than dynomat, plus the owner is a great guy and is very active in the audio scene...unlike dynomat.

i wouldent go with dynomay lookat this stuff called second skin cost less and really effictive..
