Well I give up, I went out to look for the Relay again, started the Truck to move it around and The Water pump went out. So It looks like I will be replacing a water pump before I can finish working on the Radio. When it rains..... I drown.....

i have a similar problem, how do you remove or bypass the amp, i don't care if it is quieter, any noise is better than silence.

my radio started to go off and on a while back. it would be fine when you would start it right away and then go out or get loud a staticy, when the volume was turned or the station changed or if oyu shut the vehicle off and turned it on shortly later. if it sat for a while it would be fine a gain until you did one of those things. as time went it go worse and now it have nothing. i put a new radio in but it is the same , so i think it might have to do with the amp

I'm not sure with the newer Trucks. but In mine When the AMP isnt working you just dont have any BASS, The Mids and Highs still work. Also when installing a new Radio make sure you hook up the blue ant. wires because the Power the AMP in the Infinity Systems. Sounds to me like you might have a power problem, As Adam will tell you check all your connections and check your Fuses, The Static makes me think you may have a bad connection. But I'm not an expert, I'm still looking for the AMP Relay that I changed 6 years ago and cant remember where I found it......

one other quick question, if the antenna wire is not hooked up on the new radio, i won't hve any sound or just bad quality. i didn't have it hooked up and there was no sould. the factory antenna wire doesnt fit into the hole in my new radio, do they make adapters for those too, like the do for the other wires
