just another little bit of info to all the knowledge above about power handling and what not it is easier and more common to blow a speaker with an amp that does not have enough power to push it than it is with an amp that has more power than the speaker can handle. Voice coils do not like harmonic distortion from little amps being pushed to their limit.

High inputs are better imo.....
Low pass=generally used for a sub, limits what frequencies a sub will play up to...
High pass=generally used for speakers, limits what frequencies a speaker will play down to....
What are you running speaker wise??
i learned this in class today! no, not DodgeForum.com class... MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS 116. lol.
