my pop just got a grand prix...with bose sound system...he said his door speakers are 2 ohm...and i just responded to a post where a guy bought infinity kappa 6x9's that were 2 ohm...if i remember correctly i could have sworn that the standard for front speakers...even aftermarket MOST of the time(i do know image dynamics sell 4ohm and 2 ohm components) so i was wondering have i been wrong all this time...or is this a new 'standard' hey not complaining either way...i just know my stock speakers and aftermarket speakers are 4 ohm...so just wanted to ask...thanks!!!

 

Most are 4 ohm, but the kappa's came in 4 and 2 ohm.

 

Lot's of the OEM upgrade optionmulti speaker sytsems in cars and truck these days are 2ohm component's.
