Ok you must have missed the part about the wires being clipped in the back so i can't just get a wiring harness for it. The truck is a 1996 dodge Ram 1500. I don't think it has the infinity system in it. But the stereo was rippedo ut when i got it so I might. THe question i have is for a DVD player it says i have to connect it to the emergeny brake grounding wire....but how do i Bypass that so i cna watch it on the road? DO i jsut not hook it up?

What model is the unit? You dont have to connect the mute wire and the ground wire jst goes to a good metal surface, you should jst sand it down a bit b4 securing it down. The acc will go to the switching 12 volt/ignition wire(red/white) If you have tweeters in the a-pillar you have the infinity system.
