Default 06 Ram, adding a double din ?

I am wanting to add a double din receiver to my 06 Ram without doing any custom work.

Does anyone know if this is what I need to get the job done?

If not, please share how you all are getting double din receivers into your 2006 & 2007 Dodge Rams that did not come with the factory navigation system.

Thanks again,

John-Michael

You'll need the factory Nav Bezel like above, and then the metra double din install kit for a Ram with factory nav (99-6510), because the factory opening is about 1/4" larger all the way around. You'll also need a wiring harness (70-6502) and antenna adapter (40-CR10) That's all you need.

I did a double din install today and everything went just fine except when I hook up my ipod via video cable that I had purchase separately, it keeps skipping, just like an old, scratched up cd. Any thoughts?

no idea but your are not going to get an answer from a thread started back in 07 either. Create your own and new thread if you want some help.
