Default Remote Bass COntrol

I just put a Lightning Audio amp in my sons Wrangler. He got it used from a friend that had lost the remote bass control. I called Rockford Fosgate and they said this part is not available anymore.

I know that a lot of you are in the audio business, so can anyone tell me if I can use a generic remote? It looks like the plug in end is similar on all of the bass remotes.

Here's the info on the amp:

Year 2000
Strike 2 channel amp
S2.500

Thanks

Of course that was the first place I checked. The only one I found for Lightning Audio is for a newer amp.

Don't just use any remote, the terminations are different from brand to brand. I have an older Lightning audio bass **** I'll give ya. Give me $10 and it's yours, shipped. Not sure what it's from, but it's quite old. I can post a pic of it if you want.
