File it under "Creative advertising"..........lots of companies do the same type of thing. The question is, will the type of person who sees the film also be the type of person that buys a new Dodge/Chrysler, and if so, will the numbers be large enough to justify the cost?

Dodge is getting into this category a lot more. I've noticed lately that on a lot of shows (i.e. Futerweapons, It takes a thief, Best places to find treasure etc..) That the vehicle of choice for the host is a new Durango. I understand their logic, it's a cheap commercial and get's people interested without realizing it. This particular car doesn't really do much for Dodge as it doesn't relate to any of their current vehicles and target audience.

Yup, the majority of the people that see the movie may be diehardimport owners........so much for "branding"............

I've noticed a lot of Chargers making it into TV shows and movies lately...but I think this is just a waste of money.
