RE: spypic of a 2006 charger prototype!
As the current owner of a '68 440 Charger and longtime Charger fan &
mopar lover, (owned '70 & 71 Cudas, 68 & 69 Chargers) I'm not so sure about
these spy pics I 've seen, The Charger needs to have an attitude and
this one does not. Looks like a late ninties front drive Dodge Lancer. We
don't need a boring sedan version of the Magnum, What's with the Galant taillights??. It needs some sort of hideaway lamps, (there bound to make a comeback, why not the Charger? Tail should be something like the Charger concept a from '99(sweet!). Let's not make the mistake
that Pontiac did with the lame looking "GTO". If Dodge gets this car
right
I'll be running to the dealership to trade in my 2000
Durango!
Please, I beg you! DON'T SCREW UP THE CHARGER DODGE
BOYS!!!!!

Hey bob, I really miss the fetus shifting - funny stuff.
Based on the C pillar, it fits the description given of the Charger by various insiders. The hood looks nice and long but I don't like that high tail.
If the Mustang GT is only $25,000 it's going to be hard to pick this car over it for an additional $10,000.
Guess I'll just have to restore my '69 Chrysler 300 for that great 'fuselage' styling of halcyon days.

I totally disagree about the Pontiac GTO. Dodge needs a car w/ the same all around idea as the GTO. Give me a GTO w/ a '99 Dodge Charger R/T Concept front clip, and then we will talk!
Here, check out my GTO site... CLICK HERE:
and...
Check out my page on the GTO Ram Air Concept w/ a new experimental 6.3L V-8 w/ 500 horsepower from Woodward... CLICK HERE:

1966 Dodge Charger
Drawing of supposed 2006 Dodge Charger
Note, that next year will be the Charger's 40th birthday. Also, no one has seemed to noticed that the NASCAR and Drawing pictures show rear window styling right from the 1966 - 1967 Dodge Charger models!

Bob I would disagree with you on the GTO. As of right now its a total dud, and gm knows it. They can't give these things away. I meam come on, you can lease one for 212 a month with a grand due at signing. Dealers can't move them because they don't apeal to anyone. The classic guys think its a herasey, the bmw crowd is not going to by a pontiac, period. The new duel pipes, scoops, and engine are going to help in 05 but not a lot. And I too think the charger is AZTEK, er I mean ugly. Not quite sure where dcx is going in the styling department, first the durango, then dakota, now charger? Come on guys I need to keep my job!

I agree with bob it has the same rear window styling of the 66 charger also if you look at the rear quarter panel it also looks like the 66 charger not the 300c as far as the front end I agree that it needs to have a different look more like the concept I like the magnum but we are talking muscle car icon here.
