I am talking about the original gauge cluster from 1st generation Durangos/Dakotas. Since the 2nd generation Durango came out and then the 3rd generation Dakotas came out, the new cluster dash is BUTT UGLY! The original 1 gen durango and 1and2 generation Dakota, you got your speedo, RPM, oil, volt, temp. I think the current setup is minus the temp and oil, cannot remember which two. I prefer a gauge over a dummy light for idiots anyways. Plus the current speedo is larger than life. I think too many blind people driving out there that needs to be removed from the roads.

I think the power % increases are vs. the reg 4.7motor. If it is 300hp and 329tq those are only 15% and 6% over the cureent HO motor. Still nice improvement though in the HP, torque is minimal. Yeh I would take it....lol

Anyone know if the V6 engine will be exactly the same...
oh and as soon as they release the phoenix engines the dak is getting a 4 liter V6...no more 3.7

The pricing is starting to get pretty ludicrous nowadays. Pretty soon a nice truck will cost as much as a nice house if it keeps going...

You know, I think I'll buy the 2010 version, when the have more aftermarket mods (and my truck will be mostly paid off by then) and get the 4X4 extended cab SLT or Sport. I'll have to wait and see what happens.

The price of Trucks is Getting out of hand, They dont cost nearly that much to make. They really need to stop ripping us off, its a midsize truck, if i wanted to pay 30k for a truck i would get a quad cab Ram Hemi, not a DAK with a 4.7. GM, Ford, and Dodge need to think about their pricing of trucks. 15 years ago if someone told you a truck was 30K for a Dakota you would slap them and kick em in the nuts.
