Can anyone tell me if there's any plans on bringing back the Ramcharger? I know they built them in Mexico until 2001, based on a mix of the 2nd generation Ram and the Caravan, but I'd like to see a 3rd generation body style Ramcharger hit the US roadways.
No the RamCharger sadly is completely dead. Dodge did have a reseach and in-house full-size SUV team to build a new full-size SUV based off of the current Ram platform (DR platform), and the program was called Adventurer! However the program was cancelled for an idea to make the Durango bigger instead, and which happened w/ the all-new 2004+ Dodge Durango, which is now Tahoe sized.
I think that the ramcharger would sell better personally if they remade the 70's-early 90's design that I love so much!

I totally agree. Take the basic concept of the origional Ramcharger, and just update it. Make it rugged, somewhat utilitarian, removable top (a 74-80 option, but use the curved side glass of the 81-93 models and combine it with the early 74 postless removable top), and a 4x4 option (the Mexican ones were only 2wd), and it would be an awesome truck. The only problem I would foresee is that no one makes a two door full size SUV these days. Everyone's gone to four door designs, which sucks.
Now and then within at least a 50 mile radius here I see people selling them out on their lawns. I'd love to get one but who knows how many problems it has. I just think they are awsome looking Could always find an old dodge ram and turn it into a charger.
