Hey its me again with another post about the up and coming 2009 Ram. Did not know if others had seen these and wanted to spread the news some more. So what are you guys thinking about what its looking like now? Seems more squared off and the taillights look to be back to smooth rather than the Dakota-like ones on the '07. Still not much in the way of info on the HP for the HEMI, have to wait a bit more for that I am guessing. Well enjoy the article and let me know what you guys are thinking. -Drew

Hi,I just wanted to say I remember looking at the spy shots for the current ram (pickuptruck.com)and with it all covered up it looked completely different than it is.Ijust hope the new ram looks reallygood,cause I sure like the looks of my 03 & 06 ram.

 

The strange thing about this new Ram is that the chief stylist (Trevor Creed?) said they were going to be more aerodynamic / fuel efficient since the current RAM is awful in that respect. This new one looks to be even more of a brick wall. I was hoping for a more swooping, aero, revolutionary design. But I guess Dodge isn't ready to abandon this design direction yet. You could use a ruler and the bottom of a plastic cup to draw all their latest vehicles.

05 Ram 2500 - still the best looking truck

 

the front looks square-ish like the new chevys.....but under those covers is proabably something a lot different....

 

I think as long as they dodnt swap the headlights on the superduty trucks like Ford did i think it will be fine.
