Dodge unveils 2008 Resistol Edition Ram Mega Cab
Wow why would you want a hybird truck when you could have this?
Are we really that out of touchwith customers? A cowboy hatgood grief.

Remember, it's your employer that comes up with these ideas.
(My employer would send it through a 3-year test phase, require all the drivers to go through a 5-month training course with annual refreshers, have three times the needed sensors for the equipment, and require 4-hours of maintenance per 1 driving hour)
The free hat is what sold me man!
At least it comes with a Cummins.

Wow Chrysler is really cranking up the heat on the competition. First that cutting edge Sunsert Boulevard Edition PT Cruiser and now the oh so hott Resistol Edition Ram. I can see the company turn around all ready...

As to the comment on the Sunset Boulevard PT cruiser, Chrysler has been producing "Special" PT Cruisers since the second year of production, and its helped keep sales strong, these are niche market vehicles, catering to the few, not the masses, and thankfully Chrysler has the ***** to continue building them. Maybe they should abandon all niche markets, including the SRT series, Viper, and Convertables too?
First we had drugstore cowboys, now we have drugstore cowboy trucks.

ain't nuthin' wrong with a new hat! As a matter of fact I have a 20x Black Gold. They're very nice! I wouldn't mind having the truck either; just nothing wrong with my '05 CTD 2500 4x4!!!!!!!!!
I think it will go over well in Texas.

With all due respect toour bravemen and womenin the Marine Corps (Semper Fi), REAL cowboys don'tshow offtheir jobs/rigs. When I lived in Montana, I saw an 18 wheeler let off a cowboy complete with duster, hat, chaps, and a complete saddle rig slung over his shoulder at a lonely corner just outsideof Great Falls, Montana in a snow storm. Another 18 wheeler stopped within a minute to pick him up and take him to his destination. I was on my CB radio calling for assistance for the guy, I don't know if it helped or not.
Bottom line: Real cowboys hitch rides on 18 wheelers!!!!!

i love this truck! if only it wasnt a limited edition and was offered as an upgraded package across the line (1500 all the way up to 3500). dodge needs a truck to compete with the king ranch. ive been told by tons of people that if dodge had only made a truck as nicely equipped as the king ranch theyd be driving a cummins instead of a powerchoke. i graduate in may this year and am planning on trading my truck in, and taking the money ive been saving up and buying a new 3/4 ton 4x4. if they offered this package for that truck, id problly be driving one come next summer (DODGE TAKE THE HINT!!!!)
