Default SEMA '07: Barracuda

It looks a little off to me. Almost like it's based off the current LX

I wonder how much it weighs with that entirely carbon fiber body compared to the normal LX vehicles...[sm=confused06.gif]

Two things,

1.) The retro styling reminds me more of a 67 Camaro then the Cuda
2.) Where can I buy one? The car looks fantastic and whoever put the work into it could sell a hundred of them today for sure....

Yes - the wheel arches and rear quarter/c pillarare totally 67 Camaro - that's an extremely importantdifference. Can't figure why they didn't just copy it more directly since that's the whole point of this car.

The originalChallenger/Cuda shares a very similar look with the 1st Gen Camaro....I've had to do double takes sometimes from a distance.

The wheel arches blow. Why they did that I'll never know but they screw up the whole look of the car. Smooth them out and they've got a winner. For you guys hoping for a 'Cuda, forget it unless you want to drop another $20K on a body kit and all the related body work and paint involved to make a Challenger a 'Cuda.

I'll take a plain old Challenger. Much more classy IMHO.

As much as I love the idea of this, actually building a new 'Cuda just wouldnt make sense since outside the different grille and the nameplate, there wouldnt be much to separate it from the challenger.

The thing to do would be to give it the same bodystyle as the 300C only shorter, and make it only as a ragtop, leaving the hardtop to the challenger. Then axe the sebring convertible.
