I married a '79 Aspen.... I mean my new wife had one, way back when. It was a slant six auto, which ran great, but the body had more electrical gremlins than any other car I've ever had, including my '66 Charger, which is an electrical nightmare. Traded it before it developed terminal cancer, which was the fate most of them suffered in upstate NY.

 

They should get a new name instead of Aspen [X(] That avenger looks pretty sweet except those side mirrors

I might be showing my age, but I have never heard of the Dodge Aspen before this thread. But the concept is looking pretty sweet! The name is pretty cool too.

No kiddies in the forum, eh? Well heck I am 19 years of age, going on 20 in Janurary and I seem to know just as much as the next person so... lol. But look for a crossover vehicle sometime this year in concept form from Chrysler Group.

i read in the mopar muscle they were defintly making the charger for a replacement for the intrepid to run in nascar.....so they will be on the street too.....should be ready for the daytona race in feb.

 

Yeah, I have been saying the Intrepid will be replaced by the Charger in 2005, forever. I wish people would actually read post on this site. Take the time, to go back to earlier post or to visit the post attached to the top of the forum pages. I try to post up to the date information on any Mopar product as soon as its available.
