The concept car and one test mule prototype has been built, however in the past few months, news on this car has been quiet. Testing for the press, when on at Laguna Seca Raceway a few months ago. Jurgen Schrempp CEO of the DaimlerChrysler (who cares less about Chrysler Group, unlike Dieter Zeteche CEO of Chrysler Group and former CFO Wolfgang Bernhard who is now CEO of VW), is trying to cut the funding for this car. This is the reason Wolfgang was fired from the company as an employee, however he still owns major Chrysler Group stock and is fighting for this car which is his "baby"! He got in a verbal fight w/ Schrempp and was fired! Only time will tell.
Dieter did mention if the car was built it wouldn't be at a Chrysler plant, but an independent contractor. A limited number of car would be build from 25-50 a year.

We saw the Chrysler ME-412 Concept at Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday.
It is Great. I hope they build the Dodge Charger, Because at 48 yrs old,
MID LIFE CRISIS, I'm going to buy one.
