Official Production Challenger Teaser Images!
I like it alot!! Some of the touches are better than the concept, in my opinion. Gas cap, black accent around exhaust cut outs, and a T/A style spoiler that is just subtle enough, but dead on. Only thing that made me scatch my head is why they changed the exhaust tips from the trademark Challenger "Quad" units to a more 'cuda looking version? Especially since it was one of the elements they specifically mentioned in their earliest press release? Nonetheless, awesome ride!
Those exterior gas caps were terrible. I've got magazine tests showing lots of gas sloshing out the cap under hard cornering - for both '67 and '70 generation.
The concept didn't really have quad lights - it just had turn signal/running lights that looked like another headlight.

King... this ain't the 60-70's... No offence, I would immagine this problem (not that it dosen't) wouldn't occur nowdays. Aside from that, in my opinion (Just an opinion) I find if sort of find it amusing that someone could find a single flaw in the new Challenger, at least WE MOPAR devotees can once again say we are back in the game. My hat is off to Chrysler for seeing a 2 door muscle car into production.
So no offence king, but it's hard to takeany negitive input after dreaming of a modern(Production) MOPAR Muscle Car for so longnow.
I get enough static about my beloved MOPARS from my retarded cheevy friends.... I don't want to makeanyone mad, being I am new to this Forum but I join these formsso I don't have to heardumb cheevy boy comments. Talk is cheep,I know. My devotion tothe mopar world (mainly collector cars) has given me these hard core opinions. God I love this S#%T!

the new girl is a million times better imo!!! Things i find odd are
1. no pictures of the tail lights which we all know were changed anyways. I don't think any concept tail lights have ever made it to production anyways.
2. no hood pics. makes me think the butterflies aren't a go for the production model
3. no side shots. we already know they added the b pillar but they might have changed the side mirrors and/or door handles.
4. no interior shots. i think it'll have the classic challenger inside lines (hood center consel big maybe on the middle though) but i think they'll go cheap on it and give it the charger guages and what not.
i know it's meant to tease people but still strange...

Looks like they're going to use Eagle F1 Supercar tires on these. 245/45ZR20 is visible (just barely if you up the resolution to 1280). Same tires from the other SRT-8s. +1 on liking the new grill. They're definitely good teaser shots, getting us interested (as if we weren't already) without really showing too much.
