First of all, nick it is at about 80 percent. Which is just ducky for me. I don't have to pay for daycare, and gas in the truck so I break out even!

Pt, when did you order your truck? And where do you live, it took those knuckleheads 3 weeks to ship my 02 ram from st. louis to detroit. So depending on where you live, a lot of that time might be travel. We are building ALOT of those dakotas though. And no, wpg no HO's yet.

Jgralka, I think the order went in on the 24th of November. I'm in eastern ND but the dealer's just the other side of the Red River, in Moorhead, MN.

Pt,

Just to give you an update, we will be down for 2 weeks after the 1 week shutdown for Christmas. So after we leave on the 23rd, we won't return till Jan 18 WHOO HOO! Hopefully we get your truck built before then. Do you have any order numbers, or VIN on it yet? I do have a few connections, maybe I could get a rush put on it. I can't make any promises though. Just thought i'd try to help. Oh and if you have any problems with the drivers door glass, don't yell at me! Thats my job to install the drivers door glass runner.(The piece of rubber your window guilds up and down on)

thanks for the offer Joe, but I'm content with it getting built whenever it fits into the build calendar, whether this month or next. That 3 week break sure sounds nice, looks like all I'll have is 10 days.

Patrick, thats cool, I thought I'd just throw it out there for you. What color did you go for? The 4.7 was a great choice. It is an excellent engine! I used to work at the plant that it is built at. Lost my job there due to the success of the hemi.

Wpg, to be honest, its only 15 horse. And thats if you run it on prem, if you run regular its just a standard 4.7. Plus I have no idea what they are going to charge for it either. Or they might make you step up to the laramie package, I don't know. Its your call man, but if you want one that bad my advice is to wait to get it your way!

I went with Patriot Blue. I was gonna go with Atlantic but once I saw how the Durango looked in Atlantic I decided Pat. Blue was better. It's a Laramie too. I wasn't gonna get the Laramie but with the options I wanted it actually made more sense (just a tiny premium to get leather seats and body-color bumper atop the options I wanted!)
