Actually there is an intro deal that is $25 a year with a 2 year membership now and that is if you want the print version mailed to you... (paper and postage are big bucks) and we are working on
DODGE DOLLAR coupons for people who sign up for the print version that will more than pay back....
If not you can read it for free on the web..... (we just need to cover the paper and postage if you want the print version.
a mags real cost is paper, postage AND writers and photogs....forums are content rich by people who post for free so all we need to cover are the things that really cost us...
The Viper mag quarterly is a part of an annual membership which I think is $100 a year and gets a ton of factory support ...so it give them a little wiggle room...
