Holy horsepower and torque batman! And 50 MPG! These are totally and utterly sweet, one question though: To extend the range, couldn't they design a generator on the back side of the rim?

Isn't that just a re-badged Lotus Europa? It looks sick, but I hope dodge designs its own platform for the Dodge EV.

its not exactly a rebadged europa...lotus worked closely with tesla on their roadster and had similar involvement in the Dodge EV, and when it came time for dodge to show off their EV technology, they needed a body for the car, and since lotus has experience with ultra lightweight models, they used the europa body. dodge has said that they want to have at least one of the three EVs available by the time the Volt hits the road, but with the Chrysler and Jeep EV using what are basically production models, im afraid that the Dodge EV wont end up in production, or if it does it wont still be a sports car...

Do you mean the Tesla and the EV, or the Europa and the EV?

Blech. An electric Jeep is sacrelige, and same goes for the sportscar. Greenies are the only market, and they dont want anything with performance. The van makes sense for the postal service, or couriers in congested cities though.
