little thing about GM or Nissan

I realize that I will never change any of your opinions. But I can guarantee you this, I will get up tomorrow and toast the late, great United States of America. No matter who wins, the America that I love is dead. Not because of who is leaving office, but because of who will be in. I voted for Mccain, but that was only because I think he can do the job better than Obama. Mccain will be normal politics, Obama will turn us full blown Marxist. RIP America.

Ok, somebody mentioned that Chrysler has good credit, and we all know that their models aren't hurting them, so why can't Chrysler sell stock to the government instead of GM offering the government stock to help them take it over? I can't imagine that Chrysler is in that much trouble, they aren't shutting down plants, etc. So why couldn't they stay afloat on their own?
If it's an issue of government control, then I agree with a previous poster that said they should sell the stock to employees.
