Any rumors on 2010 6.1 HP/TQ increase?

Iye wondered the same thing...with the 5.7 up around 390 now *depending on the application* ive figured that the 6.1 will have to get a jump if they want to help justify the price gap from RT to SRT trimlines. Still no word as to what Chrysler is/was doing with the 6.5 liter engine that has seen heavy testing last year, around this time. I thought that the "surprise debut" at SEMA would be something with the challenger, such as a new trimline or package, but it was the new drift car, which is using a sprint car wedge.

I say since their killin the Viper anyway, they oughta drop the Viper V10 in the Challenger. Retro/old school? NO! Badass? Hell Yes!! Do some Shelby huntin there...

Are they really going to replace the 6.1 w/ the 6.4?? How much power? The crate engine has what 525hp? THAT would be the Challenger for me!!!

i haven't heard anything about changes regarding the 6.1... hell they might get rid of it all together due to the upcoming CAFE requirements (sure they don't take place for a while longer but still people are worrying about them).. where are you guys getting this information about a new 6.4 or 6.5?

Ive never heard anything upcoming as far as power increases to the 6.1, or putting the 6.4 into anything either. Wheres everybody hearing this?
Actually, I remember talk that the 6.4 would be in the Challenger SRT8, but that didnt happen
