If the fuel prices continue to soar to the projected 2.50 cents a gallon or higher average nationwide this summer, they are going to make a hard sale on the gas guzzling V8's!
AWD? nah, I had enough of AWD as I own a Durango R/T. Missed the ability to smoke the rear tires to show off! Now if they have an off switch for the AWD and it reverts you back to RWD, I am all for that!
well since i drive like a dumb *** i want as much control as possible. and with a hemi under the hood it doesn't matter if you smoke the tires or not, u will still kick there ***.

I took delivery of my AWD 300C yesterday. It was built on 3/1/05 so it sounds like they are ahead of schedule. BTW, this "gas guzzling V-8" gets 25 mpg.
Also, AWD is a different animal with some real grunt. While the guy in the next lane is showing off smoking his tires, my AWD will be hooked up and halfway down the track. Being fast is all about traction, not tire smoke. I spent a good chunk of change on my Belvedere to keep it from smoking the tires when I launch it. Granted, frying the tires is fun too. I can do that all day long in my Ram. But, it would run solid 12s if I could just hook it up.

The 2006 Chrysler 300 Series are already showing up at dealerships and I have been passing truck loads of 300 Series cars on their way to dealerships across the country. I have seen a few 2006 Dodge Charger SXT models, no R/T models or SE models yet, all of which have had manufacturers plates. Seen one yesterday at Dick Hauvare Dodge Chrysler, a red one. But have yet to see a new Magnum or Charger on the truck going to dealerships. The Magnum will get the 2006 Dodge Charger HEMI badging for the 2006 model year as well.
