Something tells me they have their wires crossed and think just because the HD trucks will remain leaf that the 1500 will go back to leafs. But then again who knows....

I HIGHLY doubt Chrysler would invest this much time and money into a setup which has been received extremely well and then pull it after a year. The big fuss you hear out of a few people about the towing capacity being under 10,000 amuses me as well, ever heard of a 2500? They make them for a reason...

That was admitted by the original poster to be an april fool's joke. Similar to the one I read about chevy and dodge being kicked out of nascar.

I leave my heavy towing (100K+ pounds) to a vehicle without a suspension.
But, uh, you might wanna watch http://www.fordvehicles.com/2009f150/ -- that.

Ford did a decent job on the new F150 but it's by no means the be-all and end-all of pickups. If this is about them having a higher towing capacity I already addressed that above.

I have always been a Ford man but this years f150 was ugly and extremely overpriced. The crew cab fx4 i wanted would have been another 10 grand more than i paid for this one. The engine felt sluggish to me and yes it has higher towing capabilities but if i was stilling towing i'd buy a diesel...What really turned me off was the front grill and other changes they made that in my eyes, made it ugly. I wanted a truck for the city and the new Ram was the best. Not bashing Ford, just didnt like the new 150
