Are the dealerships unionized by UAW?

Dealership techs are still part of the manufacturing process. until the car is delivered it is still considered to be in the manufacturing porcess so why not union us? we get paid like factory workers with flat rate.

Every dealership I have worked in, the techs got paid for how many job-hours they flagged. If a job is listed in the labor time guide as taking an hour and a half, but, the tech can do it in 45 minutes, he still got paid the hour and a half. I had one tech that was REALLY good... He may only be in the shop for 35 to 40 hours a week, but, if he flagged less than 60, I would ask him if he was feeling ok.....
