According to the Supreme Court, the whole deal is on hold now:

"In a ruling on Monday, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said the bankruptcy judge's orders allowing the Chrysler sale were "stayed pending further order" by her or by the high court.

It was unclear what the next step would be. Many experts interpreted the action as giving the top court more time to weigh its response to a request by three Indiana pension funds and others for a stay of the deal."

"The Indiana funds bought their debt in July 2008 for 43 cents on the dollar."

43 cents on the dollar, by that point it was more than obvious Chrysler was in a dire position so they decide to jump into it anyway and now they're bitching that they're losing money on the whole thing. Morons...

One day after intervention, the high Court decides not to hear case from Indiana pension funds.
