Default 300C news from Chrysler

Thank you for your email regarding the Chrysler 300C.

The 2005 Chrysler 300C is listed as being equipped with all speed
traction control as standard equipment. If there are any features such
as traction control on restriction by the factory at the start of
production, your dealer will be able to verify this information for you.

The ability to shut off the traction control system has not been made
determined as of this time. However, we hope to learn more about this
soon.

Featuring bold new style and available V8 power, the Chrysler 300 is the
latest breakthrough design from Chrysler.

I assume the traction control and AWD are not the same.

Well it is nice to know someone else knows some about the LX platform cars on here, lol. I have been fallowing the LX since 2000 so... No, the traction control can be turned off manually... I have seen it in all the models I have sat in at NAIAS!

what does the traction control do? Control wheels like ABS?

Also...what is the auto-stick feature?

ABS is the brake system, which allows you to brake and control the car in emergency situations... the Traction Control, controls the slippage of the rear wheels... check your e-mail and contact me through an IM program!

Auto-stick allows you to take the automatic feature... and allows you to shift the car's transmission like a manual... kinda like an Indy car... a cutchless manual... just IM me and I will be glad to point you out in the right direction about the LX platform!

Here is the set up I envision for my new 300C:

I assume I am not going to get AWD on the first models due in April. Auto stick and traction control are standard, (supposidly heated seats too but no mention anywhere)

The AWD was something I would have wanted since I expect I will someday put a supercharger on this beast and bring it up to at least the 440 that it was tested with using a Whipple. I believe that 440-500 should be a snap giving the breathing this engine has avaialble. AWD would have done wonders but the heck with waiting.

I just hope the Black metalic flake looks good on this car. I have seen it on the jeep and I liked the sparkle. I expect to go with a 30% smoke window treatment but may go a shade darker.

Can not wait to get my hands on this car....sight unseem (in person anyone) this is my semi leap of faith.

Heated seats will be optional on Touring, Limited, and standard on 300C models... not available on 300 Standard. AWD models will show up around May to June... so you will have to wait till then!

The paint is not metallic by the way, but Brillant Black Pearl Coat...

This attachment, I shouldn't show since the guy in the pic was fired from DCX because he took the picture of him and the cars before they came out.. but there is two black 300Cs in the picture, showing the rear of the car.

Dealers are telling me that AWD may not be out until late this year (approx Nov.) I did not see it but someone at work told me that the 300C was shown on MTV Cribs and Cars. The rapper 50Cent had one of the early models and said to the camera's that he should be showing this yet but he was. He described it as the ultimate in luxury.

Seems sweet inside and out and cobined with the power potential I am shocked this thing is not heavily discussed on this forum......yet.
