2007 Stratus
At motor trend, i found this stated about the stratus. does anyone else know if this is true? I saw a similar thread called 2006 Stratus in this forum.
"2007 Dodge Stratus : Midsize sedan and convertible developed on the Mitsubishi Lancer platform, with a wagon to join later."

I thought the Lancer platform was the same as an EVO so can't it be RWD or AWD? Not saying it's going to be but it could. I just hope it's a good design, so far I like what DC's doing.
sounds like they are getting the neon's replacement confused with the stratus's, it's the neon that's being replaced with a car built on the lancer platform, the caliber, which I belive is due out in 2007
Abouty 3-4 weeks ago now I saw a very rough Stratus "Mule" coming home from work. It had the same body as my 2003, but had a much different chassis under it. The car itself sat approx. 6-8 inches higher than mine (probably because of the different chassis). The wheelbase was different, looked to be a bit longer, as it didn't fit exactly in the wheel wells of the current car. It also appeared to me to be all wheel drive as well. That makes sense, as I've heard/read that in various industry press clippings (motor trend I think). As for the rest of it, it was painted matte black, and I couldn't tell what the interior looked like. I haven't seen it since...
