I LOVE the new crosshaires.

 

The appearance seems to be a homage to the Charger itself. The front is very similar to the previous generation. The side looks like the 1999 Concept. The rear has some characteristics of the classic Charger from the 60s. Some of it blends well, other parts do not. The rear needed a little more time to blend the obvious Challenger elements without taking away from the Challenger. It looks a little unnatural. In my bias opinion (and I know this will surprise no one), I wish they would make the new one look exactly like the 1999 Charger Concept (or as I call it the Intrepid on steroids), but this is certainly a worthly design as well. Yeah, I REALLY wanted to see that concept... I was so excited for it.

 

I like it. Maybe I'm just seeing something that's not there, but the rear end looks alot like the Eagle Vision to me. Not a bad thing though.

You see the Vision? What would have been the 2nd gen Vision (AKA the 300M) I can see but the 1st Gen I really can't. The Vision had a straight rear, this has more the 300Ms (and 1st gen LX Charger) rear tail lamp bulges. To me, its like the blended the design of the 1st gen intrepid, 300M, and Challenger. It has the full rear cover like the Intrepid and Challenger with 300M bulges.

Looks great from here, they succeeded in making the car more attractive, which is what it needed, espeacially in the rear. Hopefully they release it in a 6-speed and I think it will really compete with the CTS / CTS-V in sales.

 

I like the look compared to the one thats out now, its too boxy now!
